Fix The Plant ("we", "us") operates https://fixtheplant.com. This policy explains what data is collected when you visit this site and how it is used. It describes what the site does today, and we update it when that changes rather than in advance.
What the site collects today
There are no accounts, and we do not collect names, addresses, or payment details. At present the site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. What remains is:
- Server log data — IP address, browser and device type, requested page, and referring page, processed by our hosting and CDN provider (Cloudflare) for security, abuse prevention, and performance. We do not use these logs to build profiles of individual visitors.
Advertising
We intend to fund the site with display advertising through Google AdSense. Advertising is not running yet. When it starts, this section applies:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this and other sites.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings or www.aboutads.info.
- Where consent is legally required before non-essential cookies are set — for example in the EEA and the UK — a consent message will be shown, and advertising cookies will not be set until you have made a choice.
We will update the date at the top of this page when advertising goes live.
Analytics
No analytics service is installed at this time. If we add one, this section will name it and describe what it measures before it starts collecting anything.
